Ngenium AI is committed to making www.ngenium.ai usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.
Conformance target
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we design against the additional Level AA criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2. This statement describes our current status honestly rather than claiming full conformance.
What we do
- Semantic structure. Pages use real headings, lists, landmarks, and native HTML controls so assistive technology can navigate them.
- Text alternatives. Informative images, including team photographs, carry descriptive alternative text.
- Colour contrast. Body text, headings, and labels are checked against the 4.5:1 Level AA threshold. We never use colour alone to convey meaning.
- Keyboard operation. Navigation, links, form fields, and expandable FAQ sections are operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. On small screens the menu button is a real button that reports its open or closed state to assistive technology, and Escape closes the menu and returns focus to it.
- Resizing and reflow. Layouts are responsive and remain usable when text is enlarged or the browser is zoomed.
- Automated testing. We run axe-core against every page as we change it, in addition to manual review. In July 2026, all ten pages of this site were tested and reported zero WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA violations.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you about these than let you discover them:
- Automated contrast checks on decorative areas. A small number of elements sit on gradient backgrounds, which prevents automated tooling from calculating a contrast ratio. These have been reviewed manually.
- Documents and third-party content. Any PDF or externally hosted content linked from this site has not been audited to the same standard.
